
Felix Geidel
Piano/Comper/Arranger
Born in Leipzig in 1991 and based in Lucerne since 2021, he began classical piano at age five and completed jazz pre-studies in Leipzig.
He studied jazz piano at the HfM Weimar (2017–19) and earned a Bachelor in Jazz Piano and Composition from HSLU Lucerne (2021–24), before starting a Performance Master there in 2026.
From 2018 to 2020 he led the band Fuchs—releasing the album Werde Konkret in 2019—and served as musical director of Leipzig’s Fuchskollektiv (2019–22).
As a sideman he performed with the Houdini Quintet, Maurice Storrer Quartet, and Abou Samra Quintet, and in 2024 he founded
The Unspoken Orchestra as pianist, composer, and arranger.

Helena Bühler
Voice
Helena Bühler is a Swiss singer and songwriter orignally from Basel.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Vocals and Composition in 2024 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Jazz Vocal Performance at the Lucerne University of Music.
Her diverse musical influences and interests have led to various projects, including the vocal group «SYAS INK» and the jazz ensemble «The Unspoken Orchestra».
Helena is currently developing her own project, which she performs under her name.

Gian Luzi Niederhauser
Bass
Born in Biel in 2003 and now based in Lucerne, he started classical double bass at eight.
He soloed with the Biel-Solothurn Symphony Orchestra (2017–18) and the Orchestre Symphonique de Neuchâtel (2019), and won multiple first prizes at the Swiss Youth Music Competition, plus the Fondation Suisa special award and the Concours du Jura (2019).
After completing jazz double bass studies in summer 2024, he performed at Artbeat Biel, Langnau Jazz, Jazzaar and Lakelive Biel alongside artists like Hermeto Pascoal and James Genus.
Since 2024, he has been assistant principal bassist of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.

Maurice Storrer
Tenor Saxophone
Born in 1998 in Schaffhausen and based in Lucerne since 2021, he completed his MA in Performance at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in July 2024.
His accolades include the Friedl Wald Foundation Prize (2022), participation in the 2022 DKSJ Tour with his quartet, victory in the 2023 Jazzaar Audition for the Swiss Youth Funk Ensemble, and the ST.ART Cultural Youth Promotion Prize for his graduation concert (2024).
He founded the Maurice Storrer Quartet in 2021 and also performs with Bag of Sound, the Meraki Sextet, St. SBB-B and the Abou Samra Quintet.
